BC州で大手の電気会社は、「BCHydro」です。BCHydroは、1961年に設立。現在では、BC州人口の94%の人たちに電気を提供している大きな会社です。
カナダの中では、かなり低価格な値段で電気を提供しています。
以下では、電気を使いたい人、使っている人を前提とした目的にあわせた電気関係の情報を提供します。

電気をつなぐにせよ、引っ越しするせよ、あなたがインターネットを使えるのであれば、最初の行動としておすすめなのが、アカウントを作る事。アカウントを作るのは無料です。登録の際には、住所や電話番号などの登録の必要はありません。とりあえず作って、色々な画面を確認してから、家の登録をしたりなど様々な手続きを始める事ができます。
アカウントを作ってみると分かるように、以外と簡単に引っ越しや支払いの手続きができます。
新築に電気をつなぎたい
新築に電気をつなぐ場合の大まかな流れとして以下のステップを踏みます。
１．仮のアプリケーションに必要な情報を記入する（本登録がやりやすくなります）
２インターネットもしくは電話で本登録を行い
３電気会社が登録内容を確認します。もし何か連絡する必要があれば連絡してきます。
４技術者が電気を繋げるように工事します。
５上がすべて完了したら電気がつながれます。
まず、仮のアプリケーションをダウンロードしてください。アプリケーションは、こちらから手に入ります。アプリケーションを埋めることで本登録の作業がスムーズに行えるようになるので、なるべくダウンロードしておいてください。

引っ越しをしたい
引越しの手続きは、インターネットで行うと簡単です。BCHydroのサイトからログインして、写真の赤い部分から引越しの手続きができます。

２ヶ月に一回送られてくる請求書の金額の内訳は以下のようになっています。
・基本料金(basic charge)
・使用量に対する料金(usage charge)
・微税(transit levy)
・消費税(GST)

支払方法
